When should I use Paingone?

Hold the device in the palm of your hand and wrap your fingers firmly around it. Your thumb should remain free to press the activating button. Ensure that your fingers make close contact with the metal ring.

For the original Paingone, click 30-40 times per application. This will be sufficient to prompt the natural pain relieving responses of your body.

Clicking more than 40 times will not have any adverse effects.

Where should I place Paingone to relieve my pain?

Place the device directly on the point of pain, or as close as possible. You can apply directly to the skin or through light clothing. If pain is spread over a larger area, move the device as you apply the therapy, following the line of your pain.

Can someone else use Paingone on me to treat my back pain?

Yes. To use on someone else, hold the device in one hand and apply to the area of pain. With your other hand, make contact with the person receiving the therapy.

For example, place your hand on their shoulder. This will ensure that the therapy is correctly administered.

Sensitivity to the therapy varies among users and depends upon the area of the body being treated. Some people find that they barely feel the pulses emitted by Paingone.

This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a problem with the device. Other users find that each pulse delivers a small sensation to the skin. Again, this is completely normal.

How do I know if it is working?

For Paingone original, when you press the activating button, it will make a ‘click’ noise. As long as it makes this ‘click’ noise, you can be sure that the device is working.

When all the charge in the device has been used, it will no longer make a clicking noise when the activating button is pressed. At this point the device will need to be replaced.

For Paingone Plus, when the charge of a battery has been exhausted, replace with a fresh battery.

Check that the device is being held in accordance with the instructions and, in particular, pay attention that firm contact is being made with the metal band encircling the device.

If suffering from haemorrhage after acute trauma or fractures, or if recovering from surgery.
If you are pregnant.
If you are fitted with a pacemaker or other active implanted electrical device.
On children or people with no ability to express their own consciousness.
If you have been diagnosed with, or have any reason to believe that you may be suffering from, Deep Vein Thrombosis (“DVT”).
DVT may be asymptomatic or may manifest the following symptoms:
Throbbing or cramping pain in one leg (rarely both legs), usually in the calf or thigh swelling in one leg (rarely both legs)
Warm skin around the painful area
Red or darkened skin around the painful area
Swollen veins that are hard or sore when touched
